Terms and Conditions
0. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the websites www.cloudadventures.sk and www.cloud-adventures.de (“Platform”), the purchase of gift vouchers, the booking of flight experiences, and the organisation of aviation-related events and additional services. By using the Platform or placing an order you accept these Terms.
1. Platform operator

2. Definitions
“Customer” – anyone buying a voucher, flight or event.
“Operator” – the independent flight provider (licensed pilot, aeroclub, flight school, aircraft owner or air operator holding an AOC) named on the product page.
“Flight” – a sightseeing, experience or introductory flight.
“Commercial flight (AOC)” – a flight operated by an air operator holding an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) under Regulation (EU) No 965/2012.
“Voucher” – a prepaid entitlement to a service ordered via the Platform.
3. Nature of the services
3.1 Cloud Adventures organises flight experiences and events, coordinates additional services and handles communication with the customer.
3.2 Private flights (Part-NCO). Flights whose operator is shown as “private pilot”, “aeroclub” or “flight school” are performed by independent operators under EASA Part-NCO (cost-sharing or introductory flights). They are not commercial air transport. For these, Cloud Adventures is the customer's contracting party for the whole experience; the flight itself is performed by the operator, whose pilot in command has full authority.
3.3 Commercial flights (AOC) – agency. For flights marked “Commercial flight (AOC)” on the product page, Cloud Adventures s. r. o. arranges the flight in the name and on behalf of the air operator named on the product page. The contract of carriage is concluded solely between the customer and that operator, whose conditions of carriage apply in addition. Cloud Adventures s. r. o. accepts payments on the operator's behalf. The operator is solely responsible for flight operation, flight safety, maintenance and the insurance required under Regulation (EC) No 785/2004.
3.4 Cloud Adventures does not operate aircraft and gives no instructions to pilots. The pilot in command alone decides whether, where and how a flight takes place or is aborted.
4. Ordering and conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded when we send the order confirmation by email. After purchase, the customer arranges the flight date with Cloud Adventures or directly with the operator as described in the confirmation.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices. Cloud Adventures is not registered for VAT and therefore does not charge VAT. Payments are processed by Stripe; in Slovakia, employee-benefit payments via f-poho are also accepted. For private flights (3.2) the operator receives only a share of the direct flight costs under Part-NCO.
6. Withdrawal, cancellation and vouchers
6.1 Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of the contract as long as no specific flight date has been agreed. Details and the model form are in the “Right of withdrawal” policy.
6.2 Vouchers are valid for 1 year from purchase. After expiry they can be used by arrangement, subject to any surcharge for price increases.
6.3 Once a specific date is agreed, the service is a leisure service on a fixed date and can no longer be withdrawn; the cancellation terms apply (more than 48 h before: 100 % or rebooking; 24–48 h: 50 % or credit; later or no-show: no refund).
6.4 If the operator cancels (weather, safety, technical reasons), the customer receives a free new date or a 100 % refund. Refunds are made within 14 days.
7. Aviation specifics
Flights depend on weather and operating conditions; route and duration may change. Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 does not apply to sightseeing flights. Weight, height and age limits stated on the product page must be observed.
8. Liability
Cloud Adventures is responsible for the organisation, the Platform, communication and payment processing. The operator, insured under Regulation (EC) No 785/2004, is responsible for flight operation, flight safety, the technical condition of the aircraft and compliance with aviation rules. Liability for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health is not limited.
9. Customer obligations
Customers must give truthful information (including weight where needed for weight and balance), follow the operator's instructions and arrive on time, not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The operator may refuse carriage for safety reasons; no refund is due in that case.
10. Complaints and disputes
Please send complaints to info@cloudadventures.sk. We reply within 5 working days and resolve complaints within 30 days. Consumers may contact an alternative dispute resolution body (e.g. the Slovak Trade Inspection). Supervisory authority: Slovak Trade Inspection, Bajkalská 21/A, 827 99 Bratislava.
11. Governing law
The law of the Slovak Republic applies. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country of their habitual residence.
12. Final provisions
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The current version is available at www.cloudadventures.sk/policies/terms-of-service. Effective 15 October 2026.
Right of withdrawal, cancellation and refunds
1. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise it, inform us (Cloud Adventures s. r. o., Strojnícka 16559/92, 821 05 Bratislava, Slovakia, phone +421 902 615 880, email info@cloudadventures.sk) by a clear statement (e.g. a letter or email). You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. It is sufficient to send your notice before the period expires.
If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice, using the same means of payment you used, free of charge. If you asked for the service to begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay a proportionate amount for the services already provided.
2. When the right of withdrawal does not apply
Our flights are leisure services. Once a specific flight date and time has been agreed, the contract is tied to that date and can no longer be withdrawn (Art. 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). The cancellation terms in section 3 then apply.
3. Cancellation after a date has been agreed
| Cancellation by the customer | Refund |
|---|---|
| more than 48 hours before the flight | 100 % or free rebooking |
| 24 – 48 hours before the flight | 50 % or credit |
| later / no-show | no refund |
For commercial (AOC) flights, stricter operator terms may apply; they are stated on the product page.
4. Cancellation by the operator
If the flight cannot take place because of weather, safety, technical or operational reasons, you are entitled to a free new date or a 100 % refund. Refunds are made within 14 days.
5. Commercial (AOC) flights
For flights marked “Commercial flight (AOC)”, your contracting party is the air operator named on the product page. Cloud Adventures s. r. o. accepts withdrawals and refund requests on its behalf.
